As I stood in the middle of the Sistine Chapel I started to feel disappointment. It wasn’t Michelangelo that was disappointing me, but it was the absence of my husband that made me think. See, you can be in the most beautiful place in the world, and be involved in the most exciting event, but what good is it without someone who can reminisce with you. Weddings and events are just that. They are beautiful and they are exciting, but if you can’t share them with the ones you love, they are disappointing. |
